G-League 2013 tournament will feature Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft 2 and Cross Fire as official games. The second G-League to feature Dota 2 and the first with a Western qualifer. The two finalist from the previous G-League 2012 will face six teams from the Eastern Qualifier and two teams from the new International Western Qualifier will make out the ten teams that will battle out in Shanghai, between the 9th and 19th of December for the tournament title.
Teams play other teams in their group in Round Robin best-of-3s.
Placement in groups are based on:
- Match Wins
- Game Wins
- Game Win-Loss Differential
- In event of 3 way deadlock, extra Bo3s to determine final placement.
Teams' position in playoffs are determined by placement in group stages.
- First place finishers advance directly into semifinals
- Second place finishers advance into round of 6 in the winners' half.
- Third place finishers advance into round of 6 in the losers' half.
A total of 270,000 RMB will be distributed as shown below:

Group winners are placed into separate semifinals. Other semifinalists are drawn into the two remaining spots. Semifinals are best-of-3s due to scheduling changes. Finals are best-of-5s.
