Pierre-Alexis "aykin" Kucharski (born January 6, 1997) is a French Age of Empires III and Age of Empires IV (Inactive) player.
Biography[edit]
Age of Empires III[edit]
aykin plays Age of Empires III since 2006. He started by playing single-player matches, scenarios and treaty games. Around 2009, he played aoe3 TAD online and became a top India player by reaching PR 40 in 2011. His very first competitive appearance was during the 2014 PK Clan tournament. He became active competitively between 2017-2018 by mainly participating in ESO-C tournaments, and in 2018, he gained experience participating in almost all of the ESO-C tournaments. In 2019, he participated in one of the biggest events, The New World Championship. He lost 1 to 3 to aizamk in the upper bracket, but made a great run in the loser bracket where he won 4 matches in a row, then was disqualified for a smurfing incident in the final game (4-4 for BO9) against snowww in the last qualifier match.
He came back in 2022 for several months, and competed in Kings of the Old World where he made good performances during the qualifier matches, by beating 3 to 0 Kaiserklein, and snowww that came back for this event as well.
He failed to qualify two times, but managed to win a place for the main event at the very Last Chance Qualifier.
kynesie and aykin are one of the famous duos of AoE III. They won the ESOC Weekend Tournament-2v2 Tour 3 to 2 against Hazza & KINGofOsmane in May 2018, but they traded their crowns for the top 4th spot during the Ace of Spades 2v2 Tournament in 2022. All the rounds they played were exeptionally high level and the series very close.
Age of Empires IV[edit]
aykin started playing Age of Empires IV with its official release October 28th, 2021. On November 6, 2021, aykin played in the Genesis Qualifier, AoE4's first big S tier tournament. He was only able to make it to the round of 64 where he suffered a 0 to 1 defeat to ftwcheese, thus ending his hopes of qualifying for the main event.
Call of Duty[edit]
He played competitively Call of Duty from 2013 to 2015 on PS3/PS4 in the french amateur scene, mainly doing scrim matches, and Glory 4 Gamers (G4G) tournaments. He realised some 2v2 S&D G4G tournaments top 1st, top 2nd and top 3rd-4th in Call of Duty: Ghosts. He realised his best performances during the Black Ops III year, where he won one 3v3 S&D tournament. He managed to reach an overall 4.5 K/D ratio, and an 1.8 K/D ratio in competitive games.
