Kronos is a Major God of the Atlanteans, which were introduced in Age of Mythology: The Titans.
While he's considered by the uninitiated to simply be a weaker version of Oranos with some unique strategies on water, true afficionados know that Kronos is a unique, remarkably aggressive major god. Kronos's Timeshift ability allows him to bring his temple into the fray in the first conflict of the game, increasing the power of his valor + oracle rush by adding an early myth unit too.His Focus upgrade also gives his valored oracles some extra punch.
Kronos can also do "the Krush", a well-known strategy where the Kronos player advances early and timeshifts all their military buildings directly outside the opponents base. Kronos players like to use his Deconstruction god power on enemy docks as soon as possible to disrupt the opponent's Food gathering and force them to advance later.
Like all atlantean gods, Kronos is an easy god for new players to pick up because of his simple economy. All of Kronos's minor gods are viable in high level play, but Prometheus is much more popular than Leto.
