Daryl "RecoN" (born July 1, 1994) is a British Age of Empires II (Inactive), Age of Empires III (Inactive), Age of Empires IV, Age of Empires Online (Inactive) and Age of Mythology (Inactive) player who last played for 2k for jesus. He is a member of the Project Celeste "PvP Balance", "Civ Design", "Regional City Design" and "Quest" teams[1], and the creator of Connected Rivers, Grasslands, and Tiny for AoEO
Biography[edit]
Age of Empires IV[edit]
RecoN started playing Age of Empires IV during its Alpha stage, well before the game's official release date on October 28th, 2021. During the last closed beta, he showed his early strength as he was one of the players in the top 3 of closed-beta leaderboard ranking.
On November 6, 2021, RecoN played in the Genesis Qualifier, AoE4's first big S tier tournament. He qualified for the main event by defeating Capoch 2 to 0. During the entire qualifier, RecoN did not lose a single game played. After winning 3:1 against Hera in the quarterfinals, he lost 1:3 against TheViper in the semifinals.
