Red Bull Wololo III is an Age of Empires II tournament hosted by Red Bull.

Two qualifiers were held for the event with open registration for 256 players for qualifier 1 and 512 players for qualifier 2. 4 players qualified from each qualifier to participate in the main event. There was no official stream for the qualifiers.

Format[edit]

All matches are played in the Empire Wars mode.
Round 1 (round of 256) is Bo1 on Arabia where players can pick any civ.
Round 2 and 3 (round of 128 and 64) is Bo3, without a draft before the series.
Rounds 4 and 5 are Bo5
Round 6 is Bo7 with a draft as follows:
- Players alternate picking civs in the order of A, B, B, A, A etc. until 7 civs for Bo5, or 9 for Bo7.
- Players then ban one of their opponents civs, leaving them with 6 civs to use over the 5 games (or 8 civs to use in a Bo7).
- Players may not use a civ that they have drafted more than once.
The map draft is as follows:
- Pick: A - B
- Ban: B - A
- Pick: A - B (for Bo5) - B - A (for Bo7)
