Arthur "Sitaux" Alauzen (born November 16, 1999) is a French Age of Empires II and Age of Empires IV (inactive) player who is currently playing for Taiwan Aoe Gamer.
Biography
[edit]Sitaux started to have success in smaller tournaments in 2020, a 2nd place finish in the Gold League of Battle of Africa 2, 1st place finishes in OrnLu's Big Nomad Cup and the French Rumble. He also managed to advance from the group stage of the 2v2 World Cup 2020 with his French teammate Babaorum. They eventually lost in round of 16 against Norway consisting of TheViper and MbL.
2021
[edit]In 2021, Sitaux began to have more success in major tournaments. In the European Rumble, he nearly made it past the group stage - he lost the head-to-head tiebreaker aginst MarineLorD. For Two Pools 2, he teamed up with the Brazilian bruh. They managed to qualify to the main event where they lost in the decider match of the group stage against Suomi.
In the summer, he managed to qualify for his first individual S-Tier event. His qualifying run for Red Bull Wololo IV included wins over Vivi and miguel. In the main event, he lost hist two matches against Yo and Nicov. For the next edition of the Red Bull Wololo series, he reached the round of 16 of the qualifier where he lost 1:3 against slam.
In the next major team game event, Empire Wars Duo 2, he qualified with his new team mYinsanity. After winning the Opening Match against Suomi, they lost the following match against Aftermath. Ultimately, they lost the Decider Match versus Suomi.
Sitaux closed out the year with a strong performance. After he managed to qualify for King of the Desert IV, he survived the group stage including wins over ACCM and MbL. His run ended in the quarterfinals as he lost 0:4 against Liereyy.
2022
[edit]Throughout the year of 2022, Sitaux would get more appearances in the main events of major tournaments - a top 16 finish in Wandering Warriors Cup and two top 12 finishes in The Resurgence and RMS Cup 2. He also managed to get promoted to the Platinum League of T90 Titans League 2 after winning his group without losses.
After not qualifying for Red Bull Wololo V, he was able to qualify for the 6th edition, Red Bull Wololo: Legacy 2022 - his first offline S-Tier event. In the first qualifier, he lost against his teammate Daniel in the round of 16 2:3. In the second qualifier he went all the way through, in the end beating slam 4:1. He lost his two matches in the main event against Hera and Valas.
Besides his success in individual tournaments, he also showed strong performances in team game events. In Return of the Clans, he played as Deceptive Baguettes with the main roster being Annotoph as pocket player and Margougou and himself as flanks. They managed to reach the playoffs where they faced Suomi in the quarterfinals. In a close series they defeated Suomi 3:2. The semifinals would mark the end of their run. They led the series 3:2 but couldn't close out the series and ultimately lost it 3:4 against Aftermath.
With his team mYinsanity, he directly qualified for Battle of Africa 3. They placed 9-12th after losing the decider match in the group stage against Los Machos, consisting of dogao, miguel and slam.
For Terra Nova Duos, he entered the the event with Annotoph and Margougou again but now as mYinsanity. They finished their group as 1st place, in front of SalzZ and GamerLegion B. In the playoffs, they reached the finals after winning against a team consisting of The_Dragonstar and Chris and Suomi. In the end, they lost 1:4 against White Wolf Palace.
His two final events of the year where Warlords and The Grand Melee. In both qualifiers, he lost in the final rounds - against Capoch and Villese respectively.
2023
[edit]Sitaux started 2023 with the second season of T90 Titans League: Platinum League. He got relegated to Gold League after collecting 6 map wins in a group with TheViper, Villese, TaToH, Barles and Sebastian2002. In the qualifiers for Nili's Apartment Cup 4, he reached the round of 12 in both qualifiers, losing to JorDan_AoE and Barles respectively.
For Nations Cup 2023, he went with France as first seed into the tournament. In the round robin group stage, they finished 2nd place only losing to Canada A. After winning Brazil A in the round of 16, they lost 1:3 against Argentina A in the quarterfinals. Continuing in the Loser's bracket, they won their first match against China B 3:2. Ultimately, they lost in the next round against Austria A 2:3 and finished 7th-8th.
In the fifth edition of King of the Desert, he had similar success to the last one. He reached the playoffs in which he upset Liereyy in the round of 16 with a 0:3 score. In the next round he would then lose 0:4 to MbL though.
For the Delicious Whirled Cup 2023, he teamed up with dogao and miguel. After advancing the group stage, they upset White Wolf Palace in the quarterfinals. In the following Round Robin Stage, they lost their two matches against GamerLegion and Aftermath and ultimately finished 3rd place after winning the 3rd place match against mYi and Friends.
After being relegated in the last season of T90 Titans League, he immediately got promoted again. In a very close group, he finished 1st - only 3 points above a relegation placement.
For Warlords II, he managed to qualify to the main event. After losing the first two matches in the swiss stage against Yo and Barles, he managed to win the following matches against Hearttt, Vinchester and ACCM and therefore secured himself a spot in the playoffs. He lost a very close set against TaToH 3:4.
In the qualifiers for Nili's Apartment Cup 5, he lost the last rounds in both against Hearttt and FreakinAndy respectively.
