The Grand Melee (abbr. TGM) is an Age of Empires II tournament hosted by The Order of the Sheep. The tournament is administrated by sieste. In addition to this event, there is also a community event.

Single Elimination
- Quarter finals are Bo5
- Semi finals are Bo7
- Grand Final is Bo9
- Third place match is Bo7

Rules & Settings[edit]

DWL game mode
- 9 Villagers
- Bigger explored area
- Resources equivalent to minute 2:30 of RM game mode
Seeding
- Bracket will be drawn randomly.
- Players are split into two seed pots
  - Players from the same pot can't meet in the first round
Civilizations
- Drafted for each series, no repeat
Maps
- Drafted, G1 will be played on the signature map
- G2 onwards: Loser of the previous game's choice from the draft
Restarts
- Only in case of bugged maps
- Restart conditions: defined in the handbook
Laming
- Allowed
