The Clash Contender Series (CCS) is a chance for semi-pro Clash Royale players to showcase their talent. All players from around the world can participate in the two divisions, Europe and America.

Format[edit]

  • Qualifiers
    • Online Qualifiers - September 11, 12, 18 & 19, 2019
      • Qualifier tournaments were held in-game within the Europe division with 1000 player limit for each tournament.
      • Players must be 15 years or older to compete in the event
      • CCS is open to players in ALL regions! CCS Americas and CCS Europe are important for scheduling and match time purposes only.
      • Europe qualifiers will begin at 7pm CEST each day.
      • Each qualifier time will involve multiple in-game tournaments running simultaneously to allow more players to join. Players may join any of the multiple in-game tournaments for each qualifier time.
      • Players will earn points based on finishing position in each in-game tournament(if you finish 1st, you get 1 point!). Players' best three finishes across the division's four qualifiers will count toward the CCS Qualifier Leaderboard (for eg. if you finish 1st, 15th, 51st, and 26th, you will earn 42 points total!).
      • If player does not participate in a qualifier day, he will be given 1,000 points for that qualifier day.
      • The CCS Qualifier Leaderboard for each region will be ranked by number of points,ascending (lower points is better)
      • Top 64 players at the end of all the Europe division qualifiers became eligible for the CCS Online Combine of the Europe division (of 6 organizations).
    • Mid Season Qualifiers - October 26 & November 2, 2019
      • At the end of 1st half of Group Stage, Midseason Qualifier tournaments were held coupling both divisions with 1000 player limit for each tournament.
      • Top 40 players at the end of the midseason qualifiers become eligible for the CCS Online Combine of both the divisions (of 12 organizations)
  • Online Combine
    • The players will demonstrate their skill in 1v1, 2v2, deck construction, and can send their resume in and talk directly with each of the CCS organizations in the respective divisions.
    • Each CCS org is required to pick up at least 4 players from this combine,
  • Group Stage - October 09 - December 05, 2019
    • Double Round Robin
    • Top 3 teams qualify for the playoffs.
    • Bottom 3 teams are eliminated.
    • All matches are played in a Bo3.
  • Rules
    • Tiebreaker rule
      • Tower with the lowest hitpoints loses the match.
    • Ban and No Ban
      • Each team can ban a single card in 2v2 set.
      • 1v1 and King of the Hill sets are played with no card bans.
    • Active Roster
      • Maximum 5 players in every match.
      • The same players cannot play in Set 1 and Set 3.
    • Tiebreaker

  • if everything above is ties, there will be a tiebreaker match.
