Format[edit]

  • The Standard Match Format is used for all Qualifier, Regular Season, Playoffs, and Championship matches. Two teams of five to fifteen players each compete to be the first to win two sets of battles. Each set is a Bo5 competition between players from each team. After each set is complete, the team that lost that set may globally ban one card for the remainder of the match.

Pre-qualifiers and Qualifiers[edit]

  • Up to thirty-two teams may compete in the Qualifiers. If more than thirty-two teams register, a pre-qualifier process will take place using the in-game tournament feature to determine which teams are eligible to compete in the Qualifiers.
  • Teams compete in a double-elimination bracket using until only eight teams remain. Those teams are considered qualified for the Regular Season.

Regular Season[edit]

  • The top-ranked eight teams from the previous season compete alongside the eight teams that advanced from the Qualifier stage.
  • The sixteen teams are divided into two groups, each with four top-ranked teams from the previous season and four teams that advance from the Qualifier stage.
  • Within each group, teams compete in a round-robin format. Afterwards, teams are ranked by: (1) Total Match wins, (2) Head-to-head Match wins; (3) Individual battle wins.
  • The top four ranked teams from each group advance to the Playoffs in the Winners Bracket, the teams ranked fifth and sixth advance to the Playoffs in the Losers Bracket, and the teams ranked seventh and eight are eliminated.

Playoffs[edit]

  • The twelve teams that advanced from the Regular Season compete in Standard Matches using a double-elimination bracket. Teams are seeded according to their ranking within each group.
  • If the last remaining team in the Winners Bracket defeats the last remaining team in the Losers Bracket, the winning team will be declared the Regional Champions
  • If the last remaining team in the Winners Bracket loses a match against the last remaining team in the Losers Bracket, both teams will play an additional match to determine the Regional Champions.
