The BLAST Premier Spring Showdown was initially intended to be held on LAN in an unannounced location but was later moved online and regionalized due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19. [1]

Format[edit]

  • Group Stage: June 1st - 4th, 2020
    • Two round-robin format groups:
      • Each group has 4 teams
      • All matches are Bo1
      • 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie
    • Top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs
  • Playoffs: June 5th - 7th, 2020
    • Two single-elimination gauntlets
      • Teams are seeded using the Group Stage
      • No Grand Final match is played
      • All matches are Bo3
    • A third-place match is played
    • Top three teams proceed to the Americas Finals
