About[edit]

The DreamHack SteelSeries CS:GO Championship will start Saturday June 14 of and the Grand Final will be played on Monday the 16th of June. Sixteen of the World’s best CS:GO teams will be participating in the tournament and fight over 200,000 SEK (equals ~$30,000) in prize money and the chance to play the Grand Final in front of thousands of CS-fans in DreamArena Extreme.[1]

Broadcasting talent[edit]

Format[edit]

  • Group Stage:
    • 4 groups with 4 teams in each group.
    • The matches will here be best-of-one.
    • Will be played using the GSL format (double elimination bracket without the final).
    • The top two teams in each group will proceed to playoffs.
  • Playoffs:
    • Single elimination Bracket.
    • Matches are best-of-three.
    • No third place decider.
