The Esports Championship Series returns for its fifth season's finals, back in the SSE Arena in London, featuring the top teams from the online season and a $660,000 USD prize pool as well as a new group draw process.

  • Group stage: June 8th - 9th, 2018
    • Two double-elimination (GSL) format groups (4 teams each)
      • Opening & Winners' matches are Bo1
      • Elimination & Decider matches are Bo3
    • Top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs

  • Playoffs: June 10th, 2018
    • Single-Elimination bracket
    • All matches are Bo3

1 May 25th - Fnatic sign Sweden Xizt from FaZe Clan to replace Sweden Lekr0. [1]
2 May 25th - Sweden olofmeister returns to activity in FaZe Clan. [2]
3 June 4th - G2 Esports announce their new lineup for the event. France shox and France SmithZz return to the active roster, Belgium Ex6TenZ joins as a stand-in, and France NBK- and France apEX are benched. [3]
4 June 5th - Norway cromen will stand in for Sweden olofmeister, as the latter won't be able to play due to further personal issues. [4]
