    • Season is played out in 5 Online Series
      • Each Series is an 8 team Single-Elimination bracket
      • All matches are played as Bo3
      • Every Series has a $25,000 USD prize pool
    • The team with the most prize winnings following the 2nd Series qualifies to the Finals
    • The winners of the following 3 Series qualify to the Finals

1 June 11th - NRG Esports replace Canada daps with Canada stanislaw. [1]
2 June 14th - United Kingdom keita is signed as Complexity Gaming's coach. United States Warden returns to solely being the team's manager. [2]
3 June 25th - MIBR loan Brazil felps to Luminosity Gaming while MIBR acquire Brazil LUCAS1 on loan from Luminosity Gaming. [3] [4]
4 July 2nd - Cloud9 bench United States RUSH, loan Sweden Golden to Ninjas in Pyjamas, and release United States vice and Denmark cajunb. They then sign Canada daps from NRG Esports, Canada TenZ, United States koosta, and Spain mixwell from Movistar Riders as replacements. United States valens moves to an analyst position and United States JamezIRL is signed as the new coach. [5]
5 July 12th - Brazil coldzera steps down from MIBR and is benched at his request. [6]
6 August 20th- Luminosity Gaming bench Brazil HEN1. [7]
7 September 5th - MIBR acquire Brazil kNgV- from INTZ eSports. [8]
8 September 6th - Complexity Gaming part ways with Australia Rickeh. [9]
9 September 9th - Brazil skullz joins Luminosity Gaming on loan from W7M Gaming. [10]
10 September 12th - Luminosity Gaming release their roster. In their announcement they express plans to transfer the license to the players however due to the ECS franchise system it is to be determined if they are able to transfer the license. [11]
11 September 16th - INTZ eSports sign Brazil shz. [12]
12 September 23rd - FURIA Esports bench Brazil ableJ and replace him on the starting lineup with Brazil HEN1. [13]
13 September 26th - Evil Geniuses acquire NRG Esports' roster. Due to the ECS franchise system it is to be determined if NRG Esports agreed and were able to transfer the license. [14]
14 September 26th - Denmark blameF and United States RUSH are acquired by Complexity Gaming. [15] [16]
15 September 27th - Complexity Gaming bench United States SicK. [17]
16 October 1st - ex-Luminosity Gaming disband as the players go their separate ways. [18]
17 October 9th - Evil Geniuses will play in NRG Esports' spot, presumably after that license was transferred between the two organizations. [19]

2 May 25th - Spacestation Gaming's remaining player's contracts expire. Spacestation Gaming opt not to renew the contracts releasing their CS:GO team. Team Singularity is granted their spot as they finished Season 7 in 11th place. [21]
3 September 4th - ATK acquire United States floppy and United States oSee from Team Singularity. [22]
4 September 12th - Team Singularity part ways with United States MAC-1. [23]
5 September 16th - Team Singularity sign United States ben1337 and United States PwnAlone. [24]
6 September 23rd - Canada moose steps down from eUnited. United States freakazoid is signed as his replacement. [25]
7 September 27th - Team Envy acquire United States ryann from Team Singularity. [26]
8 September 30th - Team Singularity will use United States stellar and United States Infinite as stand-in's for United States hydrex and United States Shakezullah for Series 2. [27]
9 October 9th - With Team Singularity signing a new squad, their former squad will continue to compete in ECS as ex-Team Singularity. [19]
