About[edit]

This years European Championship will be the first of its kind. But its not about being the first, its about prestige. Over 30 European nations will compete for unofficial title of the best in Europe. Surely you are wondering which nation is the best, who is the most dominant force on European soil. Soon we will find out. European Championship will host two very popular games, Counter-Strike Global Offensive and DotA2.


Format[edit]

  • Qualifiers
    • QR1
      • Single BO3 Match.
      • Winners qualified for QR2.
    • QR2
      • Seeded Teams(12) vs Non-seeded Teams(6 + 6 QR1 winners).
      • Single BO3 Match.
      • Winners qualified for the group stage.
  • Main Event
    • Group Stage
      • 24 teams divided in 4 groups with 6 teams.
      • Each group will be consisted of 3 seeded and 3 non-seeded teams.
      • Round robin, each team will play 5 best-of-1 matches in the group stage.
      • Teams will recieve 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
      • Top four teams will proceed to playoffs.
    • Playoffs
      • 16 teams from Group Stage.
      • Single elimination bracket.
      • BO3 matches.
      • LAN Finals in Serbia Belgrade, Serbia [1].
      • Grand Finals: BO5 match.
