Niklas "Niko" Johansson is a retired Swedish professional Counter-Strike 1.6 player. He is most known for his time in Eyeballers and H2k.

Biography[edit]

Niko started his professional career in the early years of Counter-Strike, more precisely in 2001. As most of the pros of that time, he started to play with his friends and with some lower tier Swedish teams until he joined Lemondogs in early months of 2003. He only played a couple tournaments with Lemondogs before joining SpeedLink in 2005. He gained attention after placing second place on couple matches with SpeedLink, such as DreamHack Winter 2015, CPL 2006: Singapore and EuroCup_XIII. Niko got recruited by Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2007 but only couple weeks after he left to join Begrip. He will spend his next couple months with Begrip before officialy joining Blank in early months of 2008. Niko was participating the KoTH tournaments in 2008 that were hosted by SteelSeries. In 2009, Niko announced that he joined H2k 's new roster but since the roster fell apart only couple days later after European Nations Champions 2010 was hosted he joined LIONS and he played with them till the roster was not signed in 2012 by Lemondogs. His most known results with LIONS were ASUS Open Summer 2010, ESL Pro Series: Nordic - Season 3 and DreamHack Winter 2011. In 2012, Lemondogs signed the former roster of LIONS but only couple months later Niko and co left to join WinFakt. After Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was released every professional team moved to the new game but Niko stated that he will not be moving to the new version of Counter-Strike and that he will retire from competing.
