Duncan "Thorin" Shields (born March 5, 1983) is a British esports journalist and freelance broadcast analyst. He is known as "The Esports Historian" for his extensive historical knowledge of the games, teams and players he covers. Shields has worked for various event organizers such as ESL, DreamHack, and ELEAGUE; written for Dot Esports; and actively produces video content on his YouTube channel.
