Ad Finem (lat. To the End) is a Professional eSports Organization from Greece, that was established in 2015. Currently, the organization spans across a variety of well-known Competitive Games, including Hearthstone and foremost, Dota 2, of which they are best known for.
History[edit]
In 2014, Marios Papasarantos, a quite well-known Greek dj whose passion is Esports, was working on creating a Dota 2 academy in Greece. After sharing his project with a major Greek football club that didn't show any interest, he finally found two other Greek investors that were willing to work with him.[1]
In December 2015, after SsaSpartan and Madara had failed to find success with London Conspiracy, Golden Boys and No Logic Gaming, they decided to form a team whose prime characteristics would be work ethic and friendly environment. Thus, they invited some of their former Greek teammates Maybe Next Time, Skylark and ThuG to form a team.
SsaSpartan's friendly relationship with Marios Papasarantos led them to join the team and Ad Finem was created.
On March 22nd, 2017, Ad Finem's organization and staff were acquired by PENTA Sports.[2]
Timeline[edit]
