Aghanim's Shard is a powerful item used to passively increase the power of a hero's ability. The upgrade that Aghanim's Shard provides can be anything from a new ability to simply an increase in power.

Abaddon[edit]
- Curse of Avernus
- Causes Mist Coil to deal Abaddon's attack damage on impact.
- Increases base slow by 10%.
Alchemist[edit]
- Grants Berserk Potion
- Alchemist throws a potion at an ally, applying a basic dispel and granting them bonus stats.
Ancient Apparition[edit]
- Ice Vortex
- Causes Ice Vortex to deal 40 DPS.
- Reduces attack speed by 20.
Anti-Mage[edit]
- Counterspell
- Passively grants an offensive aura reducing enemies' magic damage.
- Grants triple the effect to enemies within 300 range.
Arc Warden[edit]
- Magnetic Field
- Magnetic Field now pushes enemies out of the area at cast time.
- Provides allies in it with +40% Magic Resistance.
- Slows enemies inside by 20%.
Axe[edit]
- Counter Helix
- Causes Counter Helix to apply a debuff (stackable) that reduces total attack damage taken by Axe from the affected unit.

- Reduces Hawk cooldown by 15 seconds.
- Hawks gain Dive Bomb:
- Channels for 1 second, revealing itself, and then flies towards the target enemy, dealing 250 damage and stunning them for 2 seconds, killing the hawk.

- Bloodrage attacks now deal 2% of the target’s max health as pure damage and heals Bloodseeker for that amount.

- Shadow Walk now grants you 35% damage reduction while invisible.
- Attacking out of invisibility stuns the target for 1 second.

- Primal Split now creates a Void brewling.
- Has Astral Pulse ability, affecting enemies in 500 AoE.

- Skeleton Walk
- Creates one additional skeleton near Clinkz when exiting Skeleton Walk.
Clockwerk[edit]
- new ability Jetpack
- Grants Clockwerk flying vision, flying movement, and a 20% bonus movement speed.
- Clockwerk has a severely-limited turn rate during this time and cannot attack.
- Lasts up to 6.0 seconds or until casting Hookshot.
Crystal Maiden[edit]

- Allows you to move, cast and attack during Freezing Field.
- Can still be interrupted by enemies.

Dark Seer[edit]

- Causes Dark Seer's next attack on a hero to knock an illusion out of the victim and stun them for up to 2.25 seconds, 350 distance and 250 damage based on how far Dark Seer has moved in the past 3 seconds.

Disruptor[edit]
- Thunder Strike
- Allows Thunder Strike to be cast on allies, follows the ally and deals damage around them.
- Each strike gives a short 1.25 second buff that provides +50% Movement Speed and +75 Attack Speed.

Doom[edit]
- Infernal Blade
- Stun duration is increased from 0.6 to 1.2 seconds.
- If the enemy's level is a multiple of 3, or above level 24, they will be stunned for an additional 0.6 seconds and take 150 bonus damage.
Dragon Knight[edit]

- Ignites a 450 AoE area for 10.0 seconds, dealing 80 damage per second to enemies in it.
- Has reduced cast range when melee.
Drow Ranger[edit]
- Frost Arrows
- Apply a Hypothermia stack to enemy heroes, reducing their regeneration by 8% per stack.
- Increases damage by 5 per stack.
- Lasts 7 seconds.
- Max Stacks: 7
- If an enemy hero dies with Hypothermia stacks, they burst and deal 60 magic damage per stack and 40% slow for 2 seconds to enemies within 650 radius.
Earth Spirit[edit]
- Stone Remnant
- Causes Stone Remnant to provide 375 ground vision.
- Increases charge count by 4.
Earthshaker[edit]
- Fissure
- Reduces cooldown by 2 seconds.
- Allows Earthshaker to walk on it.
- When Earthshaker casts any ability, an Aftershock is released along its path that stuns for half the duration.
Elder Titan[edit]
- Echo Stomp
- Allows you to switch Echo Stomp to autocast.
- When cast while on autocast, Elder Titan will take the place of the Astral Spirit as it completes its stomp.
Ember Spirit[edit]
- Fire Remnant
- Fire Remnants deal 45 damage per second in a 600 AoE around them.
- If an enemy hero dies within 400 range of Ember Spirit, a Fire Remnant charge will be replenished.
Enchantress[edit]
- Nature's Attendants
- Adds 3 permanent Nature's Attendants that follow Enchantress around.
Enigma[edit]
- Black Hole
- Black Hole does a non-interrupting pull towards it in a 1200 AoE.
- Pulls at a rate of 175.
Faceless Void[edit]
- Time Walk
- Replaces Time Walk with Reverse Time Walk for 1.5 seconds after landing.
- If used in this period, you will reverse your time walk back to your previous cast location.
- Does not affect health or proc scepter hits.
Grimstroke[edit]
- Ink Swell
- Causes Ink Swell to deal 40% more damage and heal the target for 40% of the damage Ink Swell deals.
- Upon expiration, the target will receive a strong dispell.
Gyrocopter[edit]
- Rocket Barrage
- Rocket Barrage hits an extra target.
- Increases duration by 1 second.
Hoodwink[edit]
- new ability Decoy
- Hoodwink sends a decoy illusion to the target location.
- When the illusion is attacked or hit by a targeted ability, it is destroyed and plants a tree in its place that applies a lesser Bushwhack to enemy heroes around it.
Huskar[edit]
- Inner Fire
- Causes Inner Fire to reduce healing and regeneration by 50% and applies a 40% movement speed slow.
- Lowers cooldown by 3 seconds.
- Can be cast while disabled.
Invoker[edit]
- Chaos Meteor
- Causes two extra Chaos Meteors to land alongisde the primary cast at slight angles.
- Reduces cooldown by 15 seconds.
Io[edit]
- Tether
- Tether stuns enemies touching it for 1.75 seconds and deals 150 damage.
- Does not affect the same unit more than once every 7 seconds.
- Increases movement speed bonus by 10%.
Jakiro[edit]
- new ability Liquid Frost
- Stuns enemies for 0.4 seconds and applies a frost debuff that slows enemy movement speed by 20% and take 20 plus 2.5% of their max health per second as damage for 4.0 seconds.
Juggernaut[edit]
- Blade Fury
- Increases movement speed during Blade Fury by 100.
- Attacks a random nearby unit once per second dealing 75% damage at a rate of 1.4s
Keeper of the Light[edit]

Legion Commander[edit]
- Press The Attack
- Press The Attack targets now gain Spell Immunity for 1.75 seconds.

Leshrac[edit]
- Split Earth
- Causes Split Earth to repeat in the same location three additional times, with a 5 second delay between each one.
- Each time the radius increases by 75.
- Split Earth echo location is visible to both teams.
Lich[edit]
- new ability Ice Spire
- Creates an icicle at the target spot for 15.0 seconds, slowing enemies within 750 range by -30%.
- Has 800 health.
- Chain Frost can bounce to the Icicle if there are no other enemies in range.
- Can cast Frost Shield on it.
Lifestealer[edit]
- Open Wounds
- Lifestealer rends an enemy unit, slowing the victim's movement speed and allowing all allies to regain health for a percentage of the damage they deal to that unit.
- All damage dealt will steal life, including damage from spells.
- The victim recovers movement speed over the duration.
- Deals 2% of the target's max health per attack on the target from real heroes.
Lina[edit]
- Laguna Blade
- Increases Laguna Blade's cast range by 250 and causes it to go the full cast length and hit all units along the way.
- Can be ground targeted.
Lion[edit]
- Mana Drain
- Causes Mana Drain to affect up to three enemies.
- You become Spell Immune while channeling.
Lone Druid[edit]
- Savage Roar
- Savage Roar now empowers allies in 700 AoE with +20% Movement Speed and +60 Attack Speed for 5 seconds.
- Applies a basic dispel.
- Replicates between Lone Druid and Spirit Bear regardless of castability on the other.
Luna[edit]
- Lucent Beam
- Every time an enemy hero is hit by a Lucent Beam, Luna's attack damage is increased by 17 for 15s.
Lycan[edit]
- Summon Wolves
- Causes one of your creep waves to include one uncontrollable wolf that moves with the wave.
Magnus[edit]
- new ability Horn Toss
- Magnus tosses any enemies in front of him, launching them to his rear.
- Enemies spend 0.6 seconds in the air, then take 200 damage and are stunned for 0.8 seconds upon landing.

- Deals 16% of a victim's max health on impact and applying break for 3 seconds.

- Deals 175 damage in a 300 AoE and silences for 1.75 seconds.
Razor[edit]
- Storm Surge
- Causes Storm Surge to have an 18% chance when attacked or when targeted with a spell even if the attacker/caster of the incoming spell is magic immune, to release forked lightning that strikes the target and up to 3 other enemies.
- Deals 175 Damage and slows them by 50% for 1.5 seconds and has an internal cooldown of 1 second.
Riki[edit]
- Sleeping Dart
- Fires a dart at the target enemy, putting them to sleep for 4.0 seconds or if they take 200 damage.
- At the end of the duration, the target wakes up and takes 150 damage, and is slowed by 30% for 4.0 seconds.

- Allows you to target yourself or allies with Telekinesis.
- Throw range is 85% longer when targeting allies.
- Throw delay reduced to 0.5 seconds.

- Epicenter
- Every 700 units moved causes an Epicenter Pulse around Sand King in 475 AoE.

- Turns Witch Doctor into a Death Ward for 2 seconds.
- Death Ward has -30 Attack Speed.
- He is hidden during this time.
Wraith King[edit]
- Reincarnation
- Causes Reincarnation to have no mana cost.
- Spawns three skeletons to attack each nearby enemy hero when Reincarnation is triggered.
Zeus[edit]
- Static Field
- Static Field can be cast to perform a Heavenly Jump, shocking the closest visible enemy (prioritizing heroes) within 2000 range, dealing Static Field damage to them and reducing their movement speed by 100% for 2.5 seconds.
- If Zeus was moving forward, he will jump towards that direction.
