Clutch Gamers, abbreviated as CG, is a professional Dota 2 team founded by the owner of Power Gaming, Jaseem Khan. Originally based in Malaysia, the organization was created just before The Boston Major. The team initially had a roster that consisted entirely of Filipino players. After finding some success in regional tournaments, CG went on a tear and qualified for four international LAN tournaments in under a month. Having defeated WarriorsGaming.Unity, TNC Pro Team, Team Faceless and Mineski, CG was widely regarded as one of the strongest teams in the SEA region and a front runner to win the TI7 SEA Qualifiers. However, CG experienced a drastic fall from grace when they placed last at The Manila Masters, EPICENTER 2017 and were forced to pull out of The Summit 7. The team was no longer favoured to win the TI7 SEA Qualifiers, as most analysts and professional players predicted CG would either claim the third seed or not qualify at all. Alas, the team finished fourth after being defeated by Execration for the third and final spot. The team finished last at MDL 2017, the final LAN they had qualified for.

During The International 2017, the team relocated from Malaysia to Bangkok, Thailand. The team found little success after TI7 and experienced numerous roster changes. Captain Flysolo left CG in August but rejoined the team just over a month later and was promoted to captain once again. On January 30th, 2018, Jordanian players MagE- and AfrOmoush joined the team alongside Skylark. As a result of Armel's departure earlier in the month, Flysolo was left as the only remaining member of the original roster and the only Filipino player on the team until he was replaced by yol.
