Davion, the Dragon Knight[edit]
After years on the trail of a legendary Eldwurm, the Knight Davion found himself facing a disappointing foe: the dreaded Slyrak had grown ancient and frail, its wings tattered, its few remaining scales stricken with scale-rot, its fangs ground to nubs, and its fire-gouts no more threatening than a pack of wet matchsticks. Seeing no honor to be gained in dragon-murder, Knight Davion prepared to turn away and leave his old foe to die in peace. But a voice crept into his thoughts, and Slyrak gave a whispered plea that Davion might honor him with death in combat. Davion agreed, and found himself rewarded beyond expectation for his act of mercy: As he sank his blade in Slyrak's breast, the dragon pierced Davion's throat with a talon. As their blood mingled, Slyrak sent his power out along the Blood Route, sending all its strength and centuries of wisdom to the knight. The dragon's death sealed their bond and Dragon Knight was born. The ancient power slumbers in the Dragon Knight Davion, waking when he calls it. Or perhaps it is the Dragon that calls the Knight...

General Strategy[edit]
When he takes on his terrifying dragon form, Dragon Knight strikes fear into any who face him. Strong and adaptable, he can stun his enemies and burn all in front of him, often providing his allies the momentum they need to carry them to victory.
Dragon Knight (In-Game Description)
Overview
Dragon Knight is an early-game pusher that later turns into a ranged tank-like carry that can naturally corrode towers with his first level of Elder Dragon Form and later slow enemies with his third level of Elder Dragon Form. Dragon Knight also excels in flash-farming with Breathe Fire and can survive in lane with his passive ability that improves regeneration.
Dragon Knight is an all-around strong hero, but needs the early game advantage of towers to snowball to a late-game carry.

Breathe Fire is used for several reasons. To flash farm the jungle and lane creeps to get your necessary items, cripple foes in lane making it difficult for them to last hit, and weaken all enemies at he beginning of team fights. Breathe Fire's nuke and damage reduction makes it Dragon Knight's most effective skill early on. The increased armor and life regeneration from Dragon Blood is immense. Be sure to get this ability early so you can take full advantage of Soul Ring. Dragon Tail's stun duration does not scale very well for its levels. This stun is best used when in Elder Dragon Form so don't hesitate to transform for the stun and then follow up auto-attack elemental damage. Your ultimate works on towers, so push heavily once you get it.
Early Game
You want Soul Ring to use Breathe Fire as much as possible to farm and deal damage towards enemies. It also diminishes your enemies' attack, making it harder for them to last-hit or fight back.
Mid Game
Start ganking heavily with Shadow Blade; push towers during key team moments, then start ganking jungle and lanes with Shadow Blade and your ultimate's slow. After a kill, go push a tower with your team as you are now 4 vs 5 thanks to your initiative. Dragon Knight is very tank-like, but needs to avoid getting nuked down by magic spells. Black King Bar keeps you afloat, let's you dish out debuffs in Dragon Form and makes fighting back all the more harder for enemies. Helm of the Dominator offers the ability to control a creep. Select one that let's you stack and pull the Ancients camp. After several minutes of stacking, you can use your ultimate's splash damage to take out the massive stock for massive gold.
Late Game
Silver Edge is your next Shadow Blade upgrade. If you are still succeeding with ganks and want the extra damage or you are targeting an enemy to who suffers from the debuff (disabling passive abilities), Silver Edge is a good option. Assault Cuirass synergizes well with Dragon Knight who needs the attack speed, enjoys additional armor and the armor debuff works with his Dragon Form's elemental auto-attacks. Dragon Knight may be the team's primary carry or secondary to someone more agile; regardless, this helps the whole team.
