The legacy continues! ESL announce their return to Hamburg for ESL One Hamburg 2018.[1] At the end of October 2018, 12 teams will once again meet at the prestigious Barclaycard Arena. Unlike last season, ESL One Hamburg 2018 will not be part of the 2018/19 Dota Pro Circuit.[2]

Format[edit]

  • Teams and Invites
    • 12 Teams
  • Group Stage
    • Will be played from October 23-25
    • The teams will be split into two groups of 6 each
    • Bo2 round-robin group stage
    • Bottom two teams are eliminated
  • Playoffs
    • First round of the Upper Bracket will not be played on October 25th
    • The rest of the playoffs will be held at the Barclaycard Arena from October 26-28
    • Double Elimination
    • Top two teams from the group stage will start in the Upper Bracket
    • 3rd and 4th placed teams start in the Lower Bracket
    • Except grand finals, All games are played in Bo3 Series
    • Grand finals is played in a Bo5 Series
