Alexandra "Sheepsticked" Roberts (born October 29, 1996) is a British Dota 2 commentator and analyst.

Biography[edit]

Sheepsticked started playing Dota 2 in 2014,[1] and started streaming it in 2015, becoming a notorious Meepo spammer in the process (as of May 2024, she has 1,758 matches on the hero), and hit 5,000 MMR in 2016. She also took commissions for Dota 2 artwork throughout the years.[1]

In 2017, she decided to try to become the first female Dota 2 professional player, in a Twitlonger that drew a lot of attention on Reddit.[2] She spent several years working on this goal, individually and in qualifier stacks with friends. In 2022, her team, 7:3, made it to the Dota Pro Circuit North America Closed Qualifiers, finishing 4th-5th in a disqualification-strewn qualifier. That same year, 7:3 pulled off an upset in Royal Jelly Covenant: NA, beating then-Division I team simply TOOBASED 2-0, although the team failed to progress afterwards.

In 2021, Sheepsticked took part in commentating the Western and Eastern qualifiers for The International 2021. She then and then made a guest appearance as an analyst at the event proper, as well as taking part in the All-Star Match. She then moved into talent work full-time, working as an analyst for the Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe regions in the Dota Pro Circuit for all three Tours. She made her LAN debut as a full-time analyst at the Arlington Major that same season, and was invited to The International 2022 as an analyst.

In 2023, in what proved to be the final season of the Dota Pro Circuit, Sheepsticked worked as an analyst for the Dota Pro Circuit in Western Europe, China and North America, as well as the Lima Major. She also worked for ESL in DreamLeague Season 19, ESL One Berlin 2023 and DreamLeague Season 20, before rounding off her season with a second analyst role at The International 2023.

After The International 2023, she decided to move away from talent work, and move into full-time streaming as a VTuber.[3]
