Challengers rise. A champion is crowned. Welcome to the very first event in the World Showdown of Esports: the Dota 2 Showdown. The main event will be held in Las Vegas, NV, on October 14-15, 2018.[1][2]

Format[edit]

  • Group Stage: Eight teams are divided into two groups of four where they play in a Bo1 round-robin format.
  • Playoffs: Four remaining teams play in a Bo3 single elimination format.
