YUYU
YUYU

"YUYU" is a Japanese Tekken 7 player currently representing UYU.
As a child, YUYU was in a car accident and had to undergo major surgery. YUYU spent 3 months in the hospital playing Yoshi's Cookie on a portable hand held console.
During high school, along with 8 years of piano and softball, YUYU had grown fond of an arcade puzzle game called Magical Drop. When the arcade line-up was too long for Magical Drop one day, YUYU decided to try for the first time a 1v1, 3D fighting game called Tekken. YUYU did not know which character to pick, but as the count down timer was running out for the character select, she did not like the look of the character King and moved the cursor to Ling Xiaoyu.
Having become a regular competitor in Japan's Tekken scene prior to the global rise of eSports, YUYU later left the competitive Tekken scene that she was a part of for 6 years to focus on the life of family.
2 years later YUYU was asked to participate in Daigo Umehara's Kemonomichi 2 event. YUYU returned to the Tekken competitive scene and defeated Tanukana in a Tekken 7 FT10 match which lead to her current modern status as a professional, world travelling, Tekken professional eSports player.
