G2 Esports is a German professional esports organization located in Berlin, and founded in November 2013 by Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez. The organization also hosts squads in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six. Hearthstone division is formed by acquring Nihilum's roster on October 1th, 2015. The organization renamed from "Gamers2" to G2 Esports as a part of their 2015 rebranding project, two weeks after signing Hearthstone players.
