Prize Pool[edit]

Participating teams earn the following prizes for each of two Parts of Phase 1:

1st place in a Part: 35,000 USD
2nd: 27,500 USD
3rd-8th: 25,000 USD

425,000 USD is spread among the teams as seen below:

Format[edit]

Group Stage: Double Round Robin
- All matches are Bo5.
- Top 3 of Week 1-5 will qualify for the 2017 HGC Phase 1 Eastern Clash.
- Top 1 will qualify for the 2017 HGC Phase 1 Mid-Season Brawl.
- Top 2-6 will qualify for the Playoffs.
- 7-8 will fall to 2017 HGC Phase 1 South Korea Crucible.
Playoffs: Stepladder Tournament
- All matches are Bo5.
- Top 1 will qualify for the 2017 HGC Phase 1 Mid-Season Brawl.
