Participating teams earn the following prizes for each of two Parts of Phase 1:
- 1st place in a Part: 35,000 USD
- 2nd: 27,500 USD
- 3rd-8th: 25,000 USD
425,000 USD is spread among the teams as seen below:
Format[edit]
- Group Stage: Double Round Robin
- All matches are best-of-5.
- After Week 5:
- 1st-4th place will qualify for the 2018 HGC Phase 1 Western Clash.
- The winning region will unlock a third spot for the 2018 HGC Phase 1 Mid-Season Brawl. (Europe)
- After Week 10:
- 1st place will directly qualify for the 2018 HGC Phase 1 Mid-Season Brawl.
- 2nd-6th place will advance to the Playoffs.
- 7th-8th place will fall into the 2018 HGC Phase 1 North America Crucible.
- Playoffs: Stepladder Tournament
- All matches are best-of-5.
- 1st place will qualify for the 2018 HGC Phase 1 Mid-Season Brawl.

Participating Teams[edit]
- 1 Lag Force disbanded and is replaced by LFM Esports (Partnership with Imported Support).
- 2 Superstars renamed to Old Gods. Old Gods got picked up by Simplicity.
- 3 Roll20 esports had to drop their roster. The roster continued under the name Team Twelve.
- 4 Spacestation Gaming parts ways with their roster after Week 1-5. The roster continues under their old team name No Tomorrow.
- 5 Simplicity decided to release erho before Week 6, due to him breaking official rules of conduct. They had to play with Prismaticism as substitute for Week 6 who decided one week later to officially join the team.
- 6 Jason decided to leave No Tomorrow before Week 6. They had to play with Jin as substitute for Week 6, who decided one week later to officially join the team.
- 7 Team Twelve got acquired by Team Octalysis before the Playoffs.
