[edit]- 8 teams qualify for the Main Event via 5 qualifiers.
- Top 4 teams choose their opponents for the Upper Bracket Quaterfinals, from the 1st to the 4th.
- Double Elimination.
- Upper Bracket Quarterfinals are Bo3.
- All other matches are Bo5. The first map of each Bo5 series is predetermined by admins between Blackheart's Bay, Haunted Mines and Warhead Junction. First pick for heroes on this map is random.
- Upper Bracket team chooses between having a First Pick or Second Pick in the Grand Final. This team also picks the first map of the series, choosing between Blackheart's Bay, Haunted Mines and Warhead Junction.
- Heroes can only be picked ONCE during a series.
- The following 22 heroes are banned throughout the Playoffs: Anduin, Anub'arak, Blaze, Brightwing, Chromie, Diablo, Garrosh, Genji, Hanzo, Hogger, Johanna, Junkrat, Li-Ming, Lucio, Maiev, Medivh, Muradin, Rehgar, Sgt. Hammer, Tracer, Valla, Yrel.
