Singularity Esports, previously known as Team Singularity was formed in April 2016. They have found funding through private investors so the team can spend more time focusing on the game instead of finding sponsors.

In December 2017, Team Singularity opened the section of Heroes of the Storm.

In January 2018, Team Singularity changed name into Singularity Esports.
