Overview[edit]
Team ROCCAT is the eSports team of the German gaming peripheral manufacturer ROCCAT. ROCCAT sponsors various teams in eSports, as well as having had its own teams in the past, most notably for Counter-Strike. As of late, it seems as though Team ROCCAT, the company wants to further its own brand directly. This started off with picking up DIMAGA on the 5th of June 2013.[1] Team ROCCAT increased their presence dramatically after picking up the newly qualified League of Legends LCS team, Kiedyś Miałem Team in January 2014,[2] and then went to pick on another StarCraft II heavyweight in HyuN in February 2014.[3] In June 2015, Team ROCCAT starts a Heroes division by picking up WELL MET.[4]
ROCCAT has been established since 2007, and has its headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, together with offices in California and Taipei.
History[edit]
- June 11th, WELL MET joins Team ROCCAT with a roster consisting of Socke, HasuObs, ShadowmaRe, SurvoOlt, and Sportbilly.[4]
- November 24th - Cris leaves.[5]
- December 8th, SportBilly leaves, and team disbands.[6]
