Karmine Corp (previously known as Kameto Corp) and occasionally abbreviated as KCorp or KC is a French organisation which currently plays in the LFL.

History[edit]

Known as KametoCorp at the beginning, the organisation is the esport project led by the French popular streamer Kameto. In May 2020, KametoCorp annonces his entrance in League of Legends with the slot and the players of Unfazed Esport in DIV2, the second division of LFL. Their first team is composed of Adam, Akabane, Nuclearint, Jujutw0 and Helaz with Rejakar, Galdix, Striker and Reha as the coaching staff. The team quickly had a lot of fans and a large community due to the popularity of Kameto, who streams on his channel the team's matchs everyweek.

Despite a good first split with a third place with 12-6 records, the objective to promotion in LFL is not reached and it's announced that the contracts of the players will be not extended for the next year.

Later the KametoCorp annonces that Prime joins the project as Co-Owner including the rebrand to Karmine Corp. Their League of Legends roaster will be promoted to LFL/2021/Spring next year by recovering Team Oplon's slot in impossibility of playing in LFL. KCorp decides to build their new team around their old top-laner Adam. They annonce that the team is complete with Cinkrof, Saken, xMatty and Targamas.

At the beginning of the LFL/2021/Spring, KCorp isn't considered like a favorite for the title. But KCorp shows very good performances and grind the tournament's ranking, keeping the second place throughout the whole split. During the split, KCorp will maintain a rivalry againts Solary due to the friendship between the Solary's CEO, LRB, who's also a famous french streamer with a large community. In the last week, BDS falls in the race for first place, leaving KCorp and Misfits Premier tied for the first place. They'll beat them on tiebreaker thus finishing first in regular split and are directly qualified for the playoffs's final. With this first place Karmine Corp is guaranteed a slot for the EU Masters Spring 2021. In this LFL's grand-final they'll meet the same team, definitely starting one of their biggest rivals for this year alonside Solary. KCorp will crush Misfits Premier 3-0, winning their first trophy for their first LFL split.

After winning LFL, Karmine Corp is a serious favorite for the european comptetion. Directly qualified for the Group Stage against FC Schalke 04 Evolution, FC Schalke 04 Esports's academy from Germany, Cream Real Betis from Spain and the futur finalist and NLC champions BT Excel. With a perfect performance in group stage with 6-0, KCorp will be qualified for the playoffs. In playoffs, they will have a rude journey but Saken shows incredible performance. In quarter-final, they'll beat the Serbian team, Suppup eSports 2-1 after losing the first game. Faced to a great Hantera, KCorp will beat UCAM Esports Club with difficulty in semi-final. After a tight grand-final, Karmine Corp will beat BT Excel 3-1 for their first european title after just 1 year of existance. The grand-final will be the most viewed EU Masters's grand-final with a peak at 377 531 viewers, breaking the European Masters/2020/Spring's grand-final record.
