League Championship Series 2021 Summer will be the 18th North American LCS season and the third LCS tournament of the year. Unlike previous summer splits, the Summer 2021 split will carry over the records from spring, as a result, the starting standings will based on the Spring Group Stage final standings.

Format

• Group Stage
  • Triple Round Robin
  • Each team plays 27 matches.
  • All matches are played in a Bo1
  • Unlike previous editions, records are carried over from LCS Spring Group Stage.

• Playoffs - now known as LCS Championship
  • Top 8 qualify for the Mid Season Showdown
  • 1st and 2nd starts in the Upper Bracket Round 2,
  • 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th starts in the Upper Bracket Round 1,
  • 7th and 8th start in the Lower Bracket.
  • Double Elimination
  • All matches are played in a Bo5
  • Top TBD teams will be qualified for Worlds 2021
