The M4 World Championship is the final event and the World Championship of the 2022 Competitive Season organized by Moonton. Best teams throughout the year have qualified to this event.

Venue change[edit]
The venue of M4 Group Stage changed from MPL Arena (XO Hall) to Bali United Studio and M4 Knockout Stage from Istora Senayan GBK to Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan due to unforeseen circumstances and in order to provide the best possible experience for fans.[1][2]

- Group Stage Drawing Live : December 08, 2022 - 15:00ICT
- Teams are splited into 2 seed pools to ensure the balance of groups
- 16 teams are splited into 2 pools
- Pool 1 will consist of Blacklist International, ONIC, RSG Singapore and Team HAQ
- Pool 2 will consist of BURN x FLASH, ECHO, Falcon Esports, Incendio Supremacy, Malvinas Gaming, MDH Esports, Occupy Thrones, RRQ Akira, RRQ Hoshi, S11 Gaming, The Valley, TODAK
- 16 teams are splited into 2 pools
- Teams from the same qualified region will not be drawn into the same group, if that happens the later team will be slotted into the next group.
- Teams in Pool 1 will not be drawn in the same group, 2 teams from MLSL in Pool 2 will not be drawn into the same group.
- The order of the draw is serpentine (ABCD-DCBA-ABCD-DCBA)
- Group Stage: January 1st - 4th, 2022
- 16 teams are split into 4 groups of 4 teams.
- Single round robin, all matches are played in a Bo1.
- Group Top 2 advances to Playoffs Upper Bracket
- Group Bottom 2 advances to Playoffs Lower Bracket

If somehow 2 or 3 teams have the same score, there will be tiebreaker to decide the ranking
- 2-way Tiebreaker
- Upper position will be decided by previous head to head.
- 3-way Tiebreaker
- Single round robin Bo1
- If three teams still have the same points after 3 Bo1, the three teams will play two additional games according to the ranking of winning time of the first-round tiebreaker. The fastest game win of three teams will be sorted in ascending order.
- Example:
- Team 1 - 10:00
- Team 2 - 11:00
- Team 3 - 12:00
- Teams 2 and 3 will play a Bo1 match and the winner will face Team 1 in a Bo1 match.
- The winner between Team 1 and Team 2 or 3 will get the upper position.
- Knockout Stage: January 7th - 15th, 2022
- 16 teams play in a double-elimination bracket.
- Eight teams begin in the Upper Bracket, eight in the Lower Bracket.
- First two rounds of Lower Bracket is Bo3, Grand Final is Bo7, all others matches are Bo5.
- 16 teams play in a double-elimination bracket.
