The M5 World Championship is the final event and the World Championship of the MLBB 2023 Competitive Season organized by Moonton.
This year, M5 introduces the Wildcard stage and a prize pool increase from $800,000 to $900,000 USD, and is the first time the World Championship will be held across two different countries.

- Wild Card Drawing Live : November 4, 2023 - 16:00SGT
- Eight teams are split into two groups
- Teams are drawn randomly
- The order of the draw is AB-AB-AB-AB
- Wildcard: November 23rd - 25th, 2023
- Eight teams will be randomly drawn into two groups
- Single Round Robin
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 2 teams from each group play in a Crossover Match
- Bottom 2 teams from each group are eliminated
- Crossover Match: November 26th, 2023
- First place teams compete in a Bo5 against the other group's runner-up
- The winners of each match advance to Group Stage
- The losers are eliminated

- Teams are split into 3 seed pools to ensure the balance of groups
- 16 teams are split into 2 pools
- Pool 1 consists of AP.Bren, ONIC Esports, Blacklist International and Geek Fam ID
- Pool 2 consists of Fire Flux Esports, See You Soon, Burmese Ghouls, TheOhioBrothers, RRQ Akira, HomeBois, Team Flash, Triple Esports
- Pool 3 consists of Deus Vult, Bigetron Sons, Wildcard #1 and Wildcard #2
- 16 teams are split into 2 pools
- Teams from the same qualified region cannot be drawn into the same group, if that happens the later team is slotted into the next group
- Teams in Pool 1 cannot be drawn in the same group and teams in Pool 3 cannot be drawn in the same group
- The order of the draw is ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD
- Group Stage: December 2nd - 7th, 2023
- 16 teams are divided into 4 groups
- Single Round Robin
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 2 teams from each group advance to Knockout Stage
- Bottom 2 teams from each group are eliminated
- Knockout Stage: December 9th - 17th, 2023
- Double elimination bracket
- All Matches are Bo5 until the Grand Finals
