Drifters is an Overwatch team competing in Overwatch Contenders.
The team was formed by the players who remained in Contenders after their former team, Third Impact, disbanded their roster. They were originally called Comically Large Crosshair, a reference to former Third Impact player Ta1yo, who uses an unusual crosshair in-game.
Timeline[edit]
- July 21st - Comically Large Crosshair announce their roster. [1]
- August 10th - Comically Large Crosshair rebrand to Drifters. [2]
- August 10th - GetAmazed joins the team as Player Development Coach. [3]
- November 4th - GetAmazed is promoted to Head Coach. [4]
- December 5th - Haruhi leaves the team. [5]
- December 7th - Reyzr leaves the team. [6]
- December 8th - Supreme joins the team. [7]
- December 8th - D3CAL joins the team. [8]
- December 19th - Cuddlemaster joins as a Translator. [9]
- December 22nd - Head Coach GetAmazed joins the Paris Eternal as the Head Coach. [10]
- January 3rd - D3CAL and Translator Cuddlemaster leaves the team. [11]
- January 17th - Decod and Zholik retire from competitive Overwatch. Team owner byZenith retires as well. [12][13][14]
