GG Esports Academy, commonly known as GGEA (formerly OpTic Academy) was previously the academy team of the Houston Outlaws in Overwatch Contenders.
Timeline[edit]
- February 21st - The Houston Outlaws officially announce the name and roster of their Overwatch Contenders academy team, OpTic Academy.[1]
- June 6th - RinaVX announces he has left the team.[2]
- July 2nd - The team rebrands to GG Esports Academy, OpTic Gaming's parent company Infinite Esports and Entertainment's player development branch.[3]
- July 24th - Kaiser announces that he is a free agent.[4]
- September 18th - Houston Outlaws announce that smurf is traded to the San Francisco Shock.[5]
- October 10th - fischer, Greyy and Voll announce that their contracts with GGEA are over.[6][7][8]
- October 12th - Aid announces that he is a free agent.[9]
