Christian "Heurix" Thomasser is an American Overwatch Commentator.

Biography[edit]

Heurix began his career in ArenaNet's MMORPG game, Guild Wars 2. Some of his first casting opportunities came in working with ESL in 2015 and 2016 on their Guild Wars 2 Pro League series and World Championship, which featured $600,000 in prizing.

Upon the release of Overwatch in 2016, Heurix joined the Academy Gaming Weekly broadcasts as a co-host and color commentator. These weekly tournaments provided a competitive outlet and prizing for amateur and intermediate teams alike, and featured players who would eventually compete in Overwatch Contenders and the Overwatch League itself.

Heurix has since been featured on Overwatch Contenders broadcasts for Korea, China, and South America, as well as numerous third party tournaments including the Overwatch PIT Championship, Rivalcade's Overwatch Rumble, and Jayne's Tournament of Future Champions.
