Immortals
Immortals is a venture capital-backed American esports organization, primarily known for their League of Legends team. The ownership group includes a co-owner of the National Basketball Association's Memphis Grizzlies and the band Linkin Park (through their company Machine Shop Ventures) - among others.
The Immortals organization represents Los Angeles in the Overwatch League under the name Los Angeles Valiant.

The Overwatch Winter Premiere[edit]
After qualifying in the 4th qualifier of the Overwatch Winter Premiere, Immortals would play their first match against Team Liquid.
Immortals went 6-1 in the first round of robin, the only team that took a victory against Immortals was Kungarna.
During the second round Immortals had a score of 10-2 and took once again 1st place and qualified for the offline playoffs in San Antonio.
In the playoffs the Immortals had to make some roster changes since Nomy couldn't attend and he was replaced by Chance.
In the semi-finals the Immortals squad faced off against Luminosity Gaming this series ended quickly in a 3-0 victory for Immortals.
In the grand finals Immortals had to face Ghost Gaming (Previously Kungarna), in the games versus Ghost Gaming GrimReality with his McCree was really stepping up.
And Immortals took the victory by winning 3-1 versus Ghost Gaming, which secured them 1st place in the Overwatch Winter Premiere.
After this victory immortals went through a period of success where they placed 3rd and 4th in Alienware Monthly Melees. They went into the Carbon Series looking for a win, they qualified for the playoffs with a 6-4 record and went up against declining team compLexity. It was a smooth 3-0 victory however in the final they went up against the 9-1 record holding LG Evil who were seen as the heavy favorites. Immortals managed to overcome the odds and win another major tournament. After this the team went into decline being bested by the rising Selfless Gaming who were led by DPS superstars sinatraa and dafran. Immortals went through major roster changes picking up Korean players KariV and Fate.
Overwatch Contenders[edit]
They placed first on the second day of qualifiers for Overwatch Contenders Season 0. Going into the group stage immortals was placed in a group with FNRGFE, Arc 6 and Tempo Storm. FNRGFE was built with veterans from Fnatic, NRG and Gale Force. Tempo storm was seen as a lock for the group led by star player TwoEasy. Immortals dominated in the group stages going undefeated with 5 wins and a single tie. Going into the playoffs they were going up against a retooled FaZe Clan. Immortals dealt a swift 3-0 to FaZe to make it to the semi-finals where they would best Kungarna with another 3-0 victory. Into the grand final now against Team Liquid who were led by DPS superstar Shadder2k, Immortals overcome Liquid with a final score of 4-1.
In the following weeks Immortals participated in the BEAT Invitational Season 2, they achieved a second placing after being defeated by Rogue in the Grand Final.
Overwatch League Announcement[edit]
On July 12th, 2017, Immortals announced that they had purchased the Los Angeles spot in the Overwatch League.[1][2]

- June 1st - Aythen is benched.[6]
- June 2nd - KariV and Fate join the team. nomy moves to the bench. dzMins and Ookz are added as Manager and Coach respectively.[7]
- June 13th - envy joins as 7th, nomy and Aythen released.[8]
- September 18th - Cuddles joins as Assistant Coach.[9]
- October 11th - Hyped is released by the team.[10]
- October 31st - Agilities and GrimReality are revealed to have made Immortals organizations Overwatch League team, the Los Angeles Valiant.[11]
- November 1st - Verbo and KariV are announced to be on the Immortals Overwatch League team, the Los Angeles Valiant.[12]
- November 2nd - Fate and envy are the last two Immortals players to join the Los Angeles Valiant.[13]
