Biography[edit]

Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles started his career casting Warcraft 3' with the Team Sportscast Network. He also managed and coached the WarCraft 3 team Verge Gaming. He is best known for being the lead color commentator alongside DoA on OGN's League of Legends and Overwatch English broadcasts and also previously coached Counter Logic Gaming's League team.

In June 2013, MonteCristo also casted StarCraft II for the Korea Season 2 OSL.

At the end of 2019, MonteCristo announced his departure from casting professional Overwatch. [1]

  • Was very much inspired by the work of Creed in his teenage years. Particularly the song With Arms Wide Open was a song that defined his life in many ways.[22]
  • Is often called the "Rain Bros" with DoA for their duo name.
  • Has been invited multiple times by Riot and ESL to cast at League World Championships and at IEM League tournaments.
  • Is sometimes nicknamed "Kim Monte" for his love of Korean teams and players in League and Overwatch.
  • Married to Susie Kim.
