Welcome to the Overwatch Oceanic Summer Series by Full Circle Esports. Kicking off on the 4th of February 2017, this is Australasia's largest Overwatch event to date, where teams will compete for the title of the Overwatch Summer Series Champion, and a portion of a cash prize pool of 10,000 Australian Dollars.

Format[edit]

Qualifiers:
24 teams from across Australasia and Southeast Asia will be invited to participate in the Oceanic Summer Series Main Event through an open entry qualification circuit across 5 qualifiers in an 8 round Swiss format.

  • 4 Australasian teams will be directly invited to the Main Event.
  • 12 Australasian teams will qualify through the qualification circuit into the Main Event.
  • 8 Southeast Asian teams will qualify through the SEA Qualifier into the Main Event.


Main Event:
The 24 qualified teams will be split across 3 Double Elimination groups. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Finals.

Finals:
The top 2 teams from each group of the Main Event will form a 6 team, best-of-3 Round Robin group where the top 4 teams will advance into a best-of-5 Single Elimination bracket.
