Information[edit]

The Gauntlet North America consists of two stages:

  • a qualifier tournament, open to all teams, in a similar fashion as the Open Division format except that it is limited to 256 teams;
  • a Knockout stage for teams made of November Contenders participants as well as the four finalists of the open qualifier.
  • additionally, two showmatches are planned on the last day of the tournament, opposing North America & Europe Champions & Runner-ups.

Format[edit]

  • Open Qualifier: (Single Elimination)
    • Every match is played in FT3 format.
    • Top four (4) teams are qualified for the Knockout stage.
  • Knockout Stage: (Double Elimination)
    • 12 teams in a double elimination bracket.
    • All eight participants of the November season of Contenders are automatically qualified for the Knockout stage.
    • All matches are first-to-3, except for Grand Finals, which are first-to-4.
