The Quarterfinal and Semifinal series ran from July 11th to July 21st and were played in Blizzard Arena Los Angeles. The Grand Final took place on July 27th and 28th at Barclays Center in New York City.
Format[edit]
- After Stage 4 of the regular season finished, the top finishers in each division along with the next four teams in rankings regardless of division qualified for playoffs, which took place during July 11th – 21th. The top two finishers received a first-round bye. The Grand Final on July 27th – 28th determined the first Overwatch League champion team, claiming glory, the Overwatch League trophy, and a USD $1 million bonus.
- Patch 1.25
- Newly Reworked Symmetra will be disabled.
- The winner of each round of the Playoffs will be the Team that prevails in a Series against its opponent.
- Each Series is a best-of-three Matches.
- Each Match is a best-of-five Maps.
- The first place Team from each Division will earn a first-round bye in the Playoffs.
- After the Quarterfinals, the bracket is reseeded by Regular Season record.
