Toronto Esports was a Canadian Overwatch team.

Boston Uprising Partnership[edit]
On February 19th, 2018, Toronto Esports announced their partnership with the Boston Uprising from the Overwatch League to form a team for Overwatch Contenders.[1] On March 3rd, 2018, Toronto Esports revealed their roster for Overwatch Contenders 2018.[2]
Timeline[edit]
- January 20th - ONIGOD signs with Toronto eSports.[4]
- March 20th - Cynic, Mac and Snow join. NGvisator leaves.[5]
- May 25th - Renanthera joins as Analyst.[6]
- July 13th - Jaru leaves for EnVision eSports.[7]
- August 17th - ONIGOD leaves the team and becomes a free agent.[8]
- September 23rd - Cynic leaves the team.[9]
- October 5th - Poro joins.[10]
- December 7th - Panker officially joins the team after playing with them for months prior.[11]
- February 2nd - Toronto Esports announces that they have sold their roster to OWL Academy teams, and that they do not have time to immediately pickup a new roster for Contenders 2018 Season 1.[12]
- March 3rd - Toronto Esports announce their new roster for 2018.[2]
- March 11th - Kruise joins the team.[13]
- March 13th - moth leaves the team to join the San Francisco Shock.[14]
- March 27th - Pumple leaves the team. Axxiom replaces him.[15]
- June 1st - Head Coach Renanthera announces that he has left the team.[16]
- June 4th - Toronto Esports announce their new Head Coach ViViD.[17]
- June 22nd - Hexo announces that he has left the organization.[18]
- July 5th - Vizility joins the team.[19]
- July 19th - Toronto Esports announce the return of crakinlakin.[20]
- July 22nd - ViViD announces that he is looking for a new team.[21]
- July 31st - Toronto Esports announce the departure of GuardiaN.[22]
- August 12th - Vizility announces that he is looking for a new team.[23]
- August 30th - Colourhex is tranfered from Sydney Drop Bears. He will join the team after Contenders Season 2.[24]
- October 3rd - Toronto Esports announce the signing of Asking.[25]
- October 18th - Toronto Esports announce the signing of Swimmer and Dino.[26]
- October 23rd - Kruise is announced to be in the Paris Overwatch League team.[27] Dalton leaves for the Gladiators Legion.[28]
- October 30th - Axxiom and Colourhex are promoted to Boston Uprising.[29]
- November 5th - ioStux and Axel are announced as the new Head Coach and Assistant Coach.[30] Fusions joins the Boston Uprising and the Toronto Esports on a Two-way contract.[31]
- November 12th - Toronto Esports leaves Contenders and OW after being forced to change their name, as Toronto Defiant has "exclusive naming rights".[32] The Contenders spot and roster is still owned by Boston Uprising, and will compete under a new name and branding that will be determined at a later date.[33]
