Uprising Academy is the academy team of the Boston Uprising in Overwatch Contenders.
The team is owned by Robert Kraft, Chairman and CEO of the Kraft Group.
Timeline[edit]
- November 12th - Toronto Esports leaves Contenders and OW after being forced to change their name, as Toronto Defiant has "exclusive naming rights".[1] The Contenders spot and roster is still owned by Boston Uprising, and will compete under a new name and branding that will be determined at a later date.[2]
- November 22nd - nero and Shu are announced to have joined the Guangzhou Charge.[3]
- November 28th - After playing one official game under the name Uprising Academy, the team officially announces it's new name, and its roster for Contenders Season 3. Klaus joins the team.[4]
