Vancouver Titans is the team representing Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in the Overwatch League. The Titans compete in the Pacific West Division.

The team is owned by Canucks Sports & Entertainment, who also own the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks and the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The Canadian esports organization Luminosity Gaming operates the franchise.

Timeline[edit]

  • September 7th - The Vancouver Overwatch League franchise is officially announced alongside 6 new expansion teams for the 2019 season.[1]
  • October 14th - Vancouver announces that the organization has brought on Canadian esports organization Luminosity Gaming to run team operations for the Overwatch League team.[2]
  • December 1st - The name and branding of the Vancouver franchise is officially announced to be the Vancouver Titans.[3] They also announce their roster and staff for the 2019 Overwatch League Season.[4]

Trivia[edit]

  • They currently hold the record for the longest regular season match win streak in the history of the Overwatch League, winning a total of 19 matches in a row.
  • During their first season of the Overwatch League, they finished 1st place in the standings, won the Pacific Division title and the Stage 1 Playoffs.
