For Kari “Mutu” Parviainen, Paladins was a doorway that led to a competitive career after he started to play in late 2016. And in the time since then, Mutu has built a reputation for himself as one of the most prodigious shooters in the Realm. He’s a deadly damage-dealer with a flickshot like no other.
While playing on the WASD Sports roster at the 2017 Paladins Masters LAN, Mutu shattered expectations and astounded fans across the world with his seemingly impossible shots. His “Mutustiina flickshot” video from that event is legendary to this day. So it’s no surprise that when he entered the PPL on a roster like Natus Vincere, he found explosive success that ultimately ended with Mutu holding the crystal trophy at the 2018 Paladins World Championship.
Perhaps more so than any other player in the scene, Mutu can take high-skillcap champions to a whole new level of lethality. As he heads into Season 2 with the rest of the Na’Vi roster, Mutu will be defending his championship title with the help of his insane muscle memory and impeccable precision.
What’s his favorite champion? Androxus, obviously. “Because of the flickshots.”
