History[edit]

Since it was founded in 1997, SK Gaming has grown to be one of the world’s most recognized brands in competitive gaming. So it’s no surprise that their Paladins roster features some of the most well-known names in the scene. This squad dominated during the Fall Split and went into the PPL Fall Finals as the #1 NA seed -- but in an unprecedented turn of events, they lost to PGS team Purity during the PWC Qualifiers. This upset shook SK Gaming to its core, and shortly afterward two of this organization’s biggest stars, Stolzey and PrinceDannyTV, were released from the roster.

As SK Gaming heads into the PPL for 2018, they’ve filled their two open slots with ShadeeyShades and Invocal -- two of the strongest DPS players in the league. This spells good things for SK in the future. As if picking up these two hard-hitting players wasn’t enough of a boost, there’s also a long history between ShadeeyShades and team captain Bitey that may serve them well during their time as teammates. These guys played together on Eager in the past, and their friendship might be one of the best bromances in Paladins. If they can synergize in-game as well as they do out-of-game, these two might be an unstoppable duo for SK in a new year of Paladins esports.
