Team Envy
Contents
History[edit]
Team EnVyUs is one of the most storied esports organizations in the world. Since its foundation in 2007, this org has been a pro gaming powerhouse that fosters sportsmanship, integrity, and philanthropy among its affiliates. When its roster entered the PPL during the first split, they showed a ton of promise. But ultimately, they weren’t quite able to break out of the middle of the pack in the NA region.
As Envy returns to the PPL in 2018, they’re seeing some big roster changes that could really impact their performance. After losing primary DPS player Invocal to SK Gaming, Envy has picked up Global Series superstars Rockmonkey and RuBBu -- two former members of Purity, the infamous PGS team that knocked down #1 NA seed SK Gaming at the PPL Fall Finals.
Out of any NA team in this year of the PPL, it’s possible that Team Envy has the most to prove -- and the most room to improve -- for the Spring Split.
