Andrew Mahone is an American Pokémon TCG player Professional Pokémon Trading Card Game player and content creator. After winning the St. Louis Regional Championships in 2015, he started writing articles for PokeBeach’s premium article program. After a Top 8 finish at the 2017 North American International Championships, he was hired to create videos for the YouTube channel Derium’s Pokémon under the name Derium’s Competitive Pokemon. The channel quickly became one of the most popular YouTube channels for competitive TCG content on YouTube, gaining 30,000 subs in its first year. In the summer of 2018, Andrew separated from Derium’s and rebranded his YouTube channel as Tricky Gym. In the fall of 2018, Andrew and his content became sponsored by Full Grip Games, a tabletop game store located in Andrew’s hometown of Akron, Ohio. With the help of Full Grip Games, Andrew took his content creation efforts full time and started streaming to Twitch, which includes producing and commentating the Full Grip Games Pokemon League tournament every week as well as streaming the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.
