PUBG WEEKLY SERIES : KOREA is a PUBG professional league in Korea. The league represents the South Korean portion of the 2023 official competitive season held by PUBG Corporation. The 2023 competitive season will culminate at the PUBG Global Championship 2023.

Broadcast Talent[edit]

Format[edit]

  • WEEKLY STAGE
    • Weekly Survival Matches held for 2 days, 5 matches per day every Monday and Tuesday in Weeks 1 - 3
      • In Week 1, the winner of BSC Season 8 will decide the map order, ensuring that 5 Erangel and 5 Miramar matches will be played.
        • In Weeks 2 and 3, the map pool rotates with Erangel as odd matches and Miramar as even matches.
          • Points reset at the end of each Week, with top 4 teams of the week receiving PGC Points.
  • GRAND FINAL
    • The four-day, 20-match Grand Finals will determine the final standings for 2023 PWS: Phase 1.
      • Grand Final map pool rotates with Erangel as odd matches and Miramar as even matches.
        • Points scored in the Weekly Stages do not carry over to the Grand Final.

In case of a tie, Tiebreakers are used in the following order: (Updated June 2022)

  1.  Total Placement Points across all Matches
  2.  Total Match Points in the last match (Kill+Placement = Match Points)
  3.  Team’s Placement Ranking in the last match
  4.  Total Damage in the last match

Allocations[edit]

    • The top 3 teams from the Grand Finals qualify to the PUBG Global Series 1. If Gen.G finishes in the top 3, the final PGS1 slot will be allocated to the fourth place finisher.
      • The non-Pro teams are guaranteed a seed in the LVUP Showdown Season 2. However, if any of those teams qualifies to the PGS1, they'll be granted a guaranteed seed to the next Korean professional competition.
